What our Queens are Saying about the ABP experience
American Beauties Plus pageant, words can’t explain the experience I had competing in this pageant. I had the pleasure of sharing it with my sister, in which she encouraged me to “Get out of my box.” And start showing the world that big is beautiful. I met a lot of “sister queens.” and I will always treasure the bond we shared those three days. I was very nervous at first, But Angela the director, showed me the way. Angela you’re awesome. I would encourage anyone to at least experience the American Beauties Plus Pageant setting at least one time especially if it has been a lifelong dream. It is never too late to dream your dream.

I would have to say that
American Beauties Plus is the best national plus pageant system in the United States .
First and foremost Angela (the director) is a pure delight to work with, she is
always prompt and organized and a good all around person. American Beauties
Plus Pageant system is fool-proof, with Angela having so many of years of
experience in Pageantry she has went down every avenue to make sure your
pageant experience is everything you could imagine. The former queens are
always so helpful and courteous as well. If you are a plus size woman
considering joining the wonderful world of Pageantry you should make American
Beauties Plus system your first and only choice.

Fellowship, Lifelong Friends, Personal Growth and Friendly
Competition….that is what American Beauties Plus means to me.
By far, this pageant system wasn’t my first experience with
pageantry. I have been very fortunate to have won countless titles
(locally, nationally and even internationally). However, there is
something that just stands out in my mind and in my heart when I think of ABP.
Maybe it is how when we all get together, how awesome the
fellowship is year after year.
Or maybe it is the lifelong friends that I have made that have
been there for me through thick and thin.
No, it’s probably the personal growth that each woman
experiences through the host of workshops, runway training or just that smile
and pat on the back encouraging you to do your very best.
And the friendly competition…well, no pageant is a pageant
without competition. But here, it is a little different. It doesn’t
matter how fierce and confident a contestant might be, we all treat each other
with respect, and dignity. WE HELP EACH OTHER. We carry ourselves to
reflect our pageant system…with class and sophistication.
Truthfully, I don’t think that it’s just one factor that makes
ABP special. It is the culmination of it all and its Director, Angela, who is
so sweet, giving and caring.
So, if you are seriously considering competing in ABP, think no
longer. THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!

The excitement and anticipation of
the pageant was contagious. My sister and I were in the pageant together
and It was a special event we could share together. It was our first
on stage pageant for both of us. We learned so much and look forward to
representing the National Titles for the next year. I will encourage any
plus size woman to participate in the American Beauties Plus Pageant it
is an experience that you will never
forget.

When I was asked to be the
Inaugural American Beauties Plus queen, I was not only grateful but
excited. Where has there ever been a
pageant where all of the staff, as well as the delegates LOVE EACH OTHER? If you know like I do, there is none. American Beauties Plus queens (state and
national) really care about each other and wish each other the best before,
during and after. American Beauties Plus
is the epitamy of "plus size pageantry at its best". You never have to worry as the National
Director as well as the other queens have your best interest at
heart"! Now as I reign as the Lifetime
Ambassador, what a feeling that is. To
know that you are thought about and your efforts warrant such as award is a
true accomplishment within itself. To
also know that you had friends who are now your
"sisters".............what else could you ask for!!!!!!
