Rules & Regulations

(Please Read, Very Important)

 

  • NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED - NO EXCEPTIONS! THEY ARE PROMPTLY RETURNED.

  •      Money orders accepted for Entry Fees payable to: Angela Howell

(PLEASE GO TO THE "CONTACT AND PAYMENT SECTION" OF THE WEBSITE TO MAKE PAYPAL PAYMENTS, JUST CLICK ON THE BUTTON AND MAKE YOUR PAYMENT)

  • All delegates must be on time for and attend all rehearsals and events.

  • Any delegate who is caught defaming the pageant before or during the competition will be automatically disqualified.

  • If selected as a state winner, applicant agrees to participate in the 2011 American Beauties Plus Pageant© Finals.

  • Refunds will not be given.

  • Delegates will not hold the pageant or pageant location(hotel) liable for any illness or injury incurred while attending the pageant or during her reign.

  • Delegate(s), family member(s) are responsible for any damage done to the hotel property or damage to rooms  during, or after the pageant competition. The pageant will not be responsible for actions of delegate(s) or family member(s).

  • Any attempts to communicate with any or all of the judges before or during the pageant will result in immediate disqualification. The judge's decisions are final.

  • Any woman wishing to compete who has knowledge of a past present participation in any nude event, press or public event or activity that may infringe on the moral responsibility of her title will not be accepted at any level. Failure to disclose this information will result in automatic disqualification and/or relinquishment of your title.

  • If selected as an American Beauties Plus© Queen, you will be required to sign a contract stating that you will make appearances throughout your year Ten (10) total. You will also be required to send thank you notes to pageant judges, sponsors, etc.

  • It is required by the American Pageant Beauties Plus Pageant© that all State Delegates stay at the Pageant Hotel.

  • All delegates must be female born.

  • All delegates must be at least a size 14W (16 Misses). There is no height requirement.

  • Once deposit of $100.00 is received the delegate will receive the Delegate's Handbook and necessary paperwork to tell you more about American Beauties Plus Pagent.
  • Upon receiving full payment of fees the delegate crown and banner will be ordered and shipped.

 

IMPORTANT:

    •  

      If selected as an American Beauties Plus© Queen, you will be required to sign a contract stating that you will make appearances throughout your year and,

       

    • In the event you win a National Title for American Beauties Plus Pageant as a Queen or Ambassador you will need to sign a contract holding you from competing in another plus size pageant for one year.

    • You will also be required to send thank you notes to pageant sponsors, etc.

Optional Competitions

Talent competition is done on Friday night after the Banquet. This is a totally separate event. The results will not have an effect on the outcome of the pageant. The entry fee is $25. The Talent winner will receive a Talent Banner and trophy.

Other Optional Competitions

·                        Photogenic      Community Service    Portfolio

Photogenic Award will be awarded to contestants THAT SIGN UP and submits 1 photo for this competition before the pageant.The fee is $25 for this optional.  The winner will receive a trophy.

Community Service Award will be awarded to contestants THAT SIGN UP and submits a separate community service binder which includes a resume with supporting documentation and pictures. All community service resumes must be submitted before the pageant. The fee for this optional is $25.  The winner will receive a trophy.

Portfolio Award will be awarded to contestants THAT SIGN UP and submit a portfolio of pictures of themselves from appearances, modeling, etc. The fee is $25 for this optional.  The winner will receive a trophy.

K'Alvin Nathaniel Webb Award of Style©  (highest overall points in Dressy Sportwear and Evening Gown)

 

People’s Choice Winner – receives crown, banner and trophy (awarded to the delegate who collects the most money for the American Beauties Plus Platform, The American Heart Association)



On Saturday night of pageant after the on stage competition, some awards will be given out.  They are:

  • Lifetime V Queen ©– the winner will be chosen from the 2010 National Queens.

  • Lifetime Ambassador III ©– the winner will be chosen from the 2010 National Queens. (This is awarded to the queen with the most support to American Beauties Plus and her scrapbook)

  • 2011 Ambassador(s) © – Chosen from the 2010 Queens

  • Queen of Queens III, IV, V, VI
